Description
This blend of Colombian and Brazilian coffees is another award winner! We crafted Unicorns and Rainbows to taste like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in a cup. The Brazilian beans bring the peanut butter, and our Colombia Gesha supplies the fruit for a jam-like flavor.
Processing
Our Brazil is a washed process. This means the farmers wash the beans with water to bring out the nutty side. And the Colombia Gesha is a natural process to bring out the fruity side. Natural process coffees mean the farmers dry the beans with the fruit still on it and then hull the dried fruit off. Blended together gives you the PB & J!
Roast Level
Like most of our coffees, Unicorns and Rainbows is a City Roast. This means we pull it from the roaster when it reaches a milk chocolatey color. We find that City Roasts allow the coffee’s authentic flavors shine without any smokiness or oil. Unicorns and Rainbows is on the light side of medium to bring out the nuts and fruit. This roast level provides a clean and smooth mouthfeel..
Traceability
To top it off, the Colombia is Direct Trade, and the Brazil is Fair Trade, so you can feel like, well, unicorns and rainbows, knowing this coffee benefits farmers, roasters, and coffee drinkers alike.

Unicorns and Rainbows was one of our first award winners at Golden Bean North America back in 2015. It’s still the same great coffee that won then.

We will deliver orders from the Portland Metro Area within 1-3 business days free of charge. You can also choose local pickup. We will ship all other orders within 1-3 business days and provide tracking information via USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail. Free shipping is available for orders of $50 or more.
