Description
We are so proud of our staff! At Golden Bean North America this September, we won 10 medals. This Award Winners Sample Pack gives you a chance to try each of the coffees that earned an award. It includes 4 1/2lb bags with each of our award winners and a card explaining tasting notes for each. This is a great way to try a variety of our coffees and explore the nuances of differing coffees. You can even host your own coffee cupping! We’ve got instructions for that too. This Sample Pack makes a great gift idea for the coffee lover in your life, or keep it for yourself–they’re that good!
Coffees in our Sample Pack:
- Pineapple CoFerment—a natural anaerobic yeast assisted fermentation with added pineapple (what a mouthful!) This coffee boasts a sweet chocolate start, bready quality, and pineapple finish. Bronze medal in milk based (latte) and alternative milk.
- Golden Bean Sumatra—this is a wet hulled process from the Mandheling region of Sumatra. Notes of tobacco leaf, pine, and persistent sweetness, with heavy body. We think it’s the best Sumatra we’ve ever had, and our market customers agree! Bronze medal in espresso and milk based.
- Call Your Mother—another washed process, this time from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Notes of currant, plum, and cocoa with heavy body and medium bright acidity. Makes a phenomenal espresso! Bronze medal in espresso and milk based.
- Zambia Fruit Cup—this natural anaerobic process is another of Tim’s zany coffee finds. It’s a 9 day ferment anaerobic natural, with notes of pineapple, canned peaches, and sweet cocoa powder. Bronze medal in pour over and milk based, and! (drum roll please) GOLD in alternative milk!
