Processing
This coffee is a washed process which means the farmers wash the coffee cherry off the bean with water. Then they dry the beans. Washed process coffees tend towards chocolatey and nutty notes, and Call Your Mother surprises the palate with its sweetness.
Roast Level
Call Your Mother is a City Roast. City Roasts are a level of medium roast that we pull out of the roaster when the beans are about the color of milk chocolate. We find this roast level best brings out the coffee’s natural flavors without any unpleasant oiliness or smoke. We roast Call Your Mother to highlight the plummy, syrupy notes.
Traceability
Call Your Mother is fully traceable to farm. It comes from the Coopade Cooperative which is made up of over 4,500 small holders, over one third of which are women. We’re proud to carry a coffee that supports the livelihood of so many people.

We will deliver orders from the Portland Metro Area within 1-3 business days free of charge. You can also choose local pickup. We will ship all other orders within 1-3 business days and provide tracking information via USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail. Free shipping is available for orders of $50 or more.
